My Name is Manuel Alonso, I also go as Manny. I have been dabbling in the financial markets since 2017 primarily focusing on FX pairs. Over time I decided the volatility of pairs was too slow for me and decided to learn stock options. While learning stock options I realized that not everything is as easy as it seems. My first year I ended down a fairly big amount of cash, to me at the time, roughly over $13,000 dollars. I decided to keep going and not look back to end the following year over 6 figures net profit.
Long story short I decided to continue searching for what works best for me as I was rather bored of trading the opening of the session to capitalize on stock options. While searching for a bigger challenge I found futures. Futures were a blessing in disguised, the volatility was there but the annoying Greeks of options were not. After finding it difficult to deal with the margin requirements and contract expiration I decided to move on to my roots in the unregulated world of FX. Who would have thought you can trade "Futures" With less capital requirement?
While moving forward in the world of futures I realized I had one advantage that not a lot do, my fundamental & Stock Option knowledge of U.S equity financial markets. Applying this with a mix of volatility and you have the perfect system to tackle futures.
